About Us

At Carlos Santana Arts Academy (CSAA) we give all students the opportunity, encouragement, and support they needed to achieve at very high academic levels. We focus on standards-based academics with arts at the core. Providing multiple pathways to understanding and achievement for all types learners. Our teachers implement best practices based on current research in arts education, pedagogy and curriculum, with arts infusion in core curriculum while making data-driven decisions to develop differentiated lessons and strategies that meet the needs of all students.

Copy of Carlos Santana Arts Academy Title I School-Level Parent and Family Engagement Policy 2025-2026

Carlos Santana Arts Academy has developed a written Title I parent and family engagement policy with
input from Title I parents and agreed upon by Title I parents. It was presented to the Advisory Committee
and to the School Site Council for their feedback and recommendations and was finalized and approved by
those governing bodies. This policy is updated and distributed annually. Distribution methods will include:
posting on school website and school marquee, insertion in enrollment packets, distributed as an
individual document, and sent home via school mail.

Our Mission

The mission of Carlos Santana Arts Academy (CSAA), in collaboration with families and the community, is to prepare students to be successful in a diverse society and ever-changing world, becoming self-directed learners as they reach proficiency in a standards-based curriculum with arts at its core. The CSAA staff supports students in becoming technologically skilled original thinkers who are innovative problem solvers, effective communicators, and responsible members of society.
 
La misión de Escuela Carlos Santana Arts Academy (CSAA), junto con la colaboración de familias y la comunidad, es para preparar a los estudiantes para tener éxito en una sociedad diversa y un mundo de cambio, convertirse en aprendices auto-dirigidos a medida que leen en el dominio de un plan de estudios basados en las normas del currículo con el enfoque en las artes. El personal de CSAA brinda apoyo a los estudiantes para convertirse en pensadores originales con habilidades tecnológicas, que son capaces de solucionar problemas innovadores, comunicadores efectivos, y miembros responsables de la sociedad.
